When Christmas is Near....

*This post was supposed to publish at Christmas last year... Oh well~*

For no reason, my mum asked us to go Genting... And yup, we did. This was the first time the lil baby went up there... Hoho~

Fully Equipped!

Since it's year end and Christmas is just around the corner, it would be nice if we're at some cool, relaxing place. As usual, decorations and lights for Christmas is a must... Genting's interior decoration for this was good!

Waiting to check into the First World Hotel was a disaster!!! We have to wait for 100++ people before it's our turn! And damn, at this evry moment, those teenagers are showing off their laptops, psps, Ipods and etc to entertain themselves... And we these poor people, are peeking at their laptop screens, watch the programme together. LOL! Did you do these before?

It might be a chance to stop and take photo while waiting for hotel check in.

This is soooooooo romantic - Winter Wedding. I wish mine was here.

The first thing me and Xuan Xuan do after checking in to hotel rooms is to lie on the bed!!! The bed was so comfortable and warm compare to the misty cold weather outside.

It's dinner time then!!! Without fully recharge battery on the bed, we all drag our tired body to First World Times Square searching for dinner. We tried to dine at the Hainan Restaurant, but it'll took us 20 - 30minutes to serve their foods.

At last, we all compromise and dine at Hou Mei. Haihzzz~ Typical dining location for those who went to KL often. And some typical dish too...

After dinner, before seperate with our parents who their only target for coming to Genting is to go to Casino, let's camwhore a bit!!!

What people do at night when they are at Genting??? I remember when I was a teenager back then, I had this WONDERFUL Genting trip with my Photography Club members. Two girls nine boys all squeeze in a small room of highland hotel. The funniest is we all order the Ice Blended and sit at the outdoor section at Coffee Bean. Telling jokes, watching each and everyone talking and shivering at the same time and some boys even take off their shirts to show how strong are them!!! Ghost pretending, the haunted adventure... Wow~ Being here at Genting reminds me the laughter I had back then~ ^^

And what can a pair of young parents and baby do at Genting when night comes??? Absolutely nothing! The only thing we've done is at 11pm++ almost 12am, both of us were hungry and lust for a bowl of curry mee at Hou Mei, so we decided to carry the sleeping baby with us, together went to Hou Mei to fulfill our lust. Haha~ XD

Yeah~ Lust fulfilled, it's time to sleep. Comfy pillows and bedsheets makes people fall asleep fast, don't you think so?

Wonderland...

It's another cold day but the sky is clear. After had our breakfast which I forgot where and what, my parents are aiming for the 2nd round of casino while few of us went for some walk and indoor games.

Theme park and rides are not that interesting to me anymore, but I'm kinda pity my younger bro Sheng have to accompany us these few boring adults walking here and there. We end up buying him credits and play the indoor games.

After that, more walks. While we're passing the Coffee Terrace at Genting Hotel, I saw these:

Ginger Breads, Cupcakes and Tarts! So Christmasy feel!

All of those are soooooooooo fking cute I swear to myself I'm going to have my very first cupcake THIS YEAR!!! (Maybe this sound silly to you but believe me, Bun don't think cupcake worth eating at all~ So I must put my whole effort in convincing him to buy ONE for me!)

Few hours later, after my mum and dad play gao gao at the casino, it's time to say 'Bye Bye' to Genting~ (Bye bye cupcakes... T_T)

To you, yes, it may seem like a boring, but for me, this mean alot because this were my first family trip after giving birth of Xuan Xuan. I see this an opportunity to make the bond between my own family and my parents firm and fonder. Hope many many of this trip coming!!!

Almost 8 Months~

Time flies, my baby is almost 8 months old and he starts to discover his world by himself nowadays~

He don't like to lie/sit/crawl on the bed anymore. He loves the feel of being on the floor. Crawling here and there, sit up, then touch this touch that grab this grab that. I was merely fainted just by catching him and re-position him.

Soft Puzzles~ Which end up biting it using his mouth....

His 5 Star Difficult mode of getting up from lying position to sitting.

And one of the cute moments is he's starting weaning nowadays, tasting new food is a everyday must. Salty, Sweet, Sour, Bitter, Plain, Spicy... He almost tried every taste. He likes Carlsberg and Curry and Bitter Gourd. Haha XD

He likes foods.

And he'll ask for more using 'ROAAARRRRRRRR'!!!

He likes Onions too... So bad he's not going to become leng zai vampire dy~ X_X

Maybe Xuan Xuan is a positive thinking person because whenever I look at him, he'll grant me a smile like this:

Of course, sometimes he throws his tantrum upset me... But I can understand that he's helpless. I will help him whenever and whatever I can to cheer him up again.

Being a parents have to be positive enough, matured enough, knowledgeable, caring and understanding... Not too tight not too loose in our own mutual principles. Treat him like how we wanna get treated and so on... So many things to learn, so little time for myself to learn all this and teach him...

So, we shall grow together then... ^^

Daidomon Buffet

*Since this promotion is going to end at 30th of April, so I shall post this up and share with you my Daidomon Japanese Barbeque buffet experience! ^^*

Decide to go for this buffet so suddenly we can't really call and meet up with friends to enjoy this promotion~ Yikes... So in the end I end up calling my brother Kian to join us! Nyahaha~ He was sleeping when I tell him we're going for buffet... He promise to go with us using his instinct~ LOL!

First, we're going to post office to post out customer's parcel, then only head to Great Eastern Mall which located at Jalan Ampang.

The Daidomon restaurant is located at 3rd Floor. I'm kinda impressed by my own memory cos I still remember the location of it. I used to come to Great Eastern Mall for the preparation of hairshow back at 2007!
*Gosh~ I wanna link to the post of the Hairshow back at 2007 but guess what!? I DIDN'T EVEN BLOG ABOUT IT!!! MY OH MY~!!! Ok, here's the deal, leave comment if you want me to blog about it k? We shall see how it goes then~ ^^*

It's kinda weird that this Japanese restaurant have some kind of 'living room' alike space for people to wait and relax while waiting for their turn to be seated...

Comfy sofas, TV, nice ambience, can fall asleep here wei~!

We're the 1st group to be seated in the restaurant cos we arrive there ngam ngam 6pm! This buffet is from 6pm till 10pm. Last call for order will be 9:30pm.

I was amazed by those bottles decoration! Unique and recycle~ Haha XD

Honestly, his impatient and disobey behaviour kinda shut my appetite off... 3 of us were taking turns to carry him, walk him around just for him not to be noisy~ Haihz.... But still Xuan Xuan kawaiiness covered all his mistakes, Nyahaha~

If you're taking a break, you can take a walk and glace through the lamps, vase, japanese bento case... Nice but pricey. You can consider buying them if you're rich tai tais. Hehe~

My overall rating for the food of this buffet is 7/10. Not as much varieties like Jogoya but the food were okay, sashimi kinda fresh, Japanese chef making maki kung fu was good~

Some tips to remember:

• Go as early as you can! Because more and more people are arriving and you have to queue to take foods then~
• Do reservation! They need you to do reservation before you go!
• Meats for BBQ have to order from the waiter/waitress (They have nice waitress and ONE leng zai waiter!!!)
• Last call for ordering from the menu is 9:30pm
• Err... What else ar??? Oh ya~ Other part of the beef were running out fast! Be sure to order all varities before belly part because there were only belly meat left after 8pm due to high demand of customers.

That's all~ Enjoy if you're going and don't stuff yourself too much k? Haha!

When Qi was still at Malaysia, we plan to meet the two Monkeys who worked with us before in the Synovate Survey Company....

We plan to go to The Cave@ SS2, but sooooo coincidentally, The Cave was close for shooting purpose! Shooting by 8TV! We even saw 谢俊岑(I don't know is this his name... The previous 8TV Ho Chiak's male host)!!!

After dragging bout half an hour waitig for Kevin the LATE KING to arrive + discussing where to have our tea... We decide to sambil jalan sambil decide.

And this is our destination:

Restaurant One Noodle

This restaurant gives people 'China' Feel~ But the price is not very friendly...

This plate of baby octopus was given when you're seated by the waiter. Of course it is not a complimentary appetizer, need to pay one~

And here's the restaurant's food... The taste I give rate of 5/10. Kinda regret going into this restaurant actually.


'Soup'ed Dumplings 灌汤水饺, but taste so-so- only...

Looks like I can also cook this kind of mee....

The Mistake of The Day! This was recommended by the waitress while we're ordering our food. This is not even 1/2 chicken!!! So little meat, so normal, so EXPENSIVE! Cost RM25!!! What the hell~ I can find better roast chicken, larger portion in other places~!!!!

The total amount of the bill is RM90 if I'm not mistaken. For a TEA SESSION, we paid RM90 FOR A TEA SESSION!!! And all the fault goes to that stupid, bloody roast chicken! X_X I really feel like being ripped off man!


Despite all the heartache paying for the bill, we shall make this heartaching tea session memorable by taking photossss~

After some discussion, Me and Bun, Qi and Kevin decided to bring Qi visit the famous Fullhouse @ NiuZeXui! This will be the 2nd time I visit Fullhouse at that week! I really heart that place gao gao!

But Bun dislike this 'going to Fullhouse' idea... Cos frankly, we didn't even have enough money to pay for the bill if we're having dinner there. While Qi were going there with Kevin's car, me and Bun actually argued in the journey. Haihz... Sad story...

菓子 and something nice~

When Qi was back to Malaysia, that was the best part of the year I can say. So many gatherings, so fun and so memorable.

Out of my expectation, she asked me to bling up her phone. *o* It was an honour to see, to touch, to play and even to ruin decorate her phone!

The phone she bought at Japan using student plan from the telecommunication company 'softbank' are expensive as hell. Though they manage to let student pay by installment for 2 years, the total amount of the whole package still so freaky expensive.

Imagine - RM2000+ for a most cheap phone in Japan, a better phone should cost me a month's salary, no?

After I blinged it up, I received a bag of 菓子(Snacks) from Qi. Snacks from Aomori, Japan!!! I haven't had any since my cousin sis back from Japan more than 5 years ago! I was so excited!!!

Just looking at their packaging makes me drool~ =L

One of the most attractive product from Japan is their SNACKS! Colourful Packaging, Cute, and taste good!

So crunchy, full of the sweet aroma of apple, I truly LOVE this cookie to death!

Besides expensive handphones, they also have expensive KFC. It was so expensive you would bury all your lust for the crispy, crunchy, herbs and spices marinated fried chicken into the core of the earth! RM20++ for a snack plate! Their chicken must be the best of the world. For that price, we can have 2 plates + side dishes at Malaysia.

So, another thing Qi wanna do at Malaysia is to EAT KFC!

This morning my mum received an overseas call... And the first thing she heard is kid crying at the other end of the phone...

The kid keep on yelling for mummy, save me!!! (All conversation are in Madarin)

My mum was confused, the kid's voice sounds like my 2nd brother, which should be working by that time.... And the kid keep on yelling: Save me! I've been kidnapped!

The first reaction of my mum of course, asking Where are you now? (Typical reaction) But inside my mum's thinking, she thinks that my 2nd bro was bring to police station for some reason, cos you know, teenagers turning adult, must have done something illegal or what.

Immediately a guy with heavy China Mandarin Slang continue the conversation, say Your kid is with me now! Give me money and I shall let him go!

Of course, my mum is not typical housewife who don't know anything bout those tipu-tipu going on in this world, she ask the kidnapper Where is the child location? The kidapper yeld Don't ask about it! Just bank in the money to me!

My mum ask my dad to continue the conversation... My dad asked him How much is the ransom? The Kidnapper dare dare say RM1million.

LOL! Make sense or not????

My dad say: 1 million hell money(冥钱) ok? The kidnapper knew this phone call won't success he quickly hang up.

You're laughing right? Who will be deceived by this stupid phone call? But hell no! There's someone outside being cheated RM20k++!!!

Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant & Market @ The Curve, The Street.

This definitely is a store sampai busuk post. Skip if you want to~ Haha XD

Last year Alien's birthday (Not my friend Alien Chew, is Bun's friend Alien Teoh~ LOL! I got so many alien as friends) we went to The Curve, had a small gathering and decided to tryout this restaurant called Bubba Gump Shrimp Co Restaurant And Market.

If you've watched the movie <> before, you definitely know why is this Shrimp Co. exist! This movie is soooooooo meaningful and I will give 5☆++++++ till infinite! I even watched a few times of it.

About Forrest Gump

I knew the existance of this restaurant for quite some time but never found a proper reason for myself to visit it, so since it's someone's birthday, so I can dine in this restaurant without having any guilty feeling of spending~ Muahahaha~

The interior design of this restaurant was superb! Full of "Forrest Gump Atmosphere"!

After order our foods, while waiting, we found something interesting on the table. You only will understand its usage after some explaination from the waiter.

"Run Forrest Run" - You got nothing to ask from the waiter

After playing with those plates, we play with sauces~ They have plenty of sauces to go with their dishes...

Only me and Bun eating cos Alien and Chun Munn already had their lunch way earlier~ Me and Bun had our lunch at 5pm! Crazy or not? That time I was still pregnant! What a messy routine of life X_X

炮兵 a.k.a Mill Wheel

I'm dying for ice lately.... Every drinks I ordered must ICED! (Ya, bad for breast feeding mummy) I just cannot tahan no ice in drinks, the drinks taste dull~ >_>

After browsing my files, I manage to dig out some store sampai busuk photos of ICE~ These photos was taken around Mid August 2008.... LOL~ If you think this post is not interesting, please come back another day...

I remember me and Bun like to go around Kepong area that time to find they-so-call-delicious food to try on. Yeah~ If you don't know, Kepong are famous for alot of delicious foods around there, but it takes some time from my house to there, especially traffic jam time! @_@

So, I think after watched some episodes of Ho Chiak! and heard there's one Ice Specialists in Kepong area, we decided to find it out where it's located and how's the taste of the ICES...

Their logo are super cutie!!! And everything are so Taiwan-ish. To my opinion, this kind of conceptual shop idea imports from Taiwan, don't you think so?

Inside their shop, beside selling ICES, they sell other small stuffs like house decoration, books, stationaries etc. looks a bit like Niu Ze Xui Full House, or Full House copy one? LOL!

After browsing through their menu, the price rage are around RM3++ to RM11++. So if you think it's overpay for ICE dish, maybe it is... But who cares, not that I'm coming everyday... (But FYI, I went there 2 times! LOL!)

Mango Ice, I dislike Mango and its range of foods..... Yucks~ But Bun likes it. V_V

Overall, this shop service, price etc are quite okay, You guys can plan to visit it too! It's located at the shop lots just opposite Jaya Jusco Kepong! You gotta find it though cos it's not located facing the main road.
